ICC Tours Yankee Stadium

Thanks to a donation from Joanie Giammarino the residents of ICC were treated to a personal tour of the new Yankee Stadium! The tour brought the residents to the Yankee Museum, where they were able to see various pieces of memorabilia, such as uniforms worn by Babe Ruth, Lou Gherig and Joe DiMaggio. The 27 World Series trophies that the Yankees have won were on display as well, which thrilled the residents to no end!
From the museum, they were led to Monument Park, where the Yankee greats have plaques in their name honoring their years with the organization. The part that the residents enjoyed the most was when they were taken to sit in the dugout (looking out onto the field), and then into the Yankee clubhouse to see where the current players get ready before their games.
A great time was had by all and the residents were able to experience parts of the park that they had only dreamed about seeing. Thank you Joanie!!
